I had a HD crash today, a WD External USB HD crashed and I had to restart my DAW windows XP, zero fil the HD and low level format and shit...
Now the HD is fine again. And, I don´t know if one thing is releated to another, but I tried to connect my MPC smartmedia card via USB to my computer DAW (windows xp sp3) and what I got ? It don´t recognizes it. In the device manager usb controllers it shows as "unknown device". The funny thing is: when I connect it to my laptop (windows 7), everything is fine, it recognizes, I ran scandisk and HD Tune and everything is OK with the card. Another funny thing is my DAW recognizes my pendrive normally, making me think WTF is that ?
