Hi,
I'm just trying out an MPC 2500SE. 3 months old.
I'm trying to, (just for now) program drum sequences from Cubase, having a midi output from my DAW play the drums samples from the MPC
I have DEFINETLY got a midi signal from the DAW output.
The midi cable is checked,
I even have it connected to a midi keyboard, straight into the MPC's midi input 1.
Nada!!! Im in sequence mode, empty sequence with the program (which consists of 1 sample, a kick on C#1)
No matter what I do, I cant hear the sample unless I hit the MPC's pad.
How can I check muy MPC is set to recieve midi. I've been all over the Midi mode menu's but simpley cannot get any sense out of it.
REmember, i am trying to play interna samples, not route out to a sound module.
IS there no midi message receive light ont he MPC. At the moment I'm not even sure if the midi input is working.
