What's up MPC-Forums, I hope you can help me...

Anyway, my [Shift] key had stopped working and I ordered a new one from VST, however, when I replaced it, it's still not responding. I am going to try another one of the replacements they sent me, to verify that it wasn't just a faulty replacement.

Beyond that, does anyone know how I can fix this problem or what this problem could possibly be attributed to? I know it's hard to diagnose without seeing the board, if it helps I can take the faceplate off again and grab a flick.

Please let me know, any-/everything helps!

Peace,

Max Carnage

when you said you bought a new shift key did you mean the tact switch or the actual button you press? because the button your pressing is not the problem at all, its the tact switch under it. same goes for any of the buttons

If you search on here there's plenty of threads dedicated to replacing tact switches. You will need some soldering skills if you do it yourself though.
