2000xl pads VS 2500 pads .... stiff/bouncy

Hello i'm just wondering if anyone has replaced/swapped the 2500 pads with origional 2000xl pads?... and also are the mpc stuff replacement pads on the stiff (2500)or bouncy like the 2000xl.

Not really, but to my knowlegde with MPCs, it seems that every model was built differently and the pads seem more or less bigger or smaller than the other. It might work though since its just rubber.

going from a 2kxl to a 2500, the pads seem softer/bouncier to me. but on the other hand my 2k was almost ten years old and saw a lot of use.

gotta break them in, my first 2500 was brand new from gc and pads felt stiff as hell, even after over year of moderate use...recently unloaded second hand 2500 on ebay, pads on that thing felt soft like butter

the 2500 seem a lot more stiffer and the 2000xl is a lot softer.

i prefer the 2500 only because its what i got used to. i got both

i had a black 2500 with the grey pads, they were a little stiff

i just got a 2500SE with the black pads and they are softer

the XL pads are nice.

i like the black pads on my 2500SE tho
