Looping

If i build a drum loop that is only two bars long... what is the easiest way to make that loop turn into 8 or 10 bars instead of 2?

I often wondered if grid edit can do such a thing.

maybe the free jjos doesn't support copy and paste?

Go into sequence edit and under 'bars' you can specify how you want to extend your whole sequence. Easy.

but the new bars will be empty, though, no?

Nope.

If you need to extend your 2 bars into 4 or 8 (and you have multiple tracks) then don't look elsewhere.

I wouldn't know cause I haven't read it! I assume it does though...

There was a big enough overlap in features from the 2kxl, so I scraped by for a week then bought JJ.

hit mode seq edit

then hit bars

change last bar to 2

change after bar to 2

then pick how many copies you want to make

ex 1 copy of a 2 bar seq will make it 4 bars, etc...
