Hey guys whats good,
Im on a budget right now and just getting started any help and tips would be appreciated. I am running an MPC2500 (I upgraded to the 128 bit ram and the 120gig hard drive) , the M-AUDIO Mobile Pre, A mac mini with a 500 gig external hard drive and the mobile pre came with Pro Tools se, ive been trying to set it all up together but have a few questions.
1. Ive watched a few videos via youtube and when they show you how to sync the options are different on there mp. I have sync in and sync out thats it
2. How can i tell if its "slaved" like ive been reading about?
3. on my Mobile pre i dont have midi and for sound I have to run it threw my stereo outs not my mix out like ive been told? and is this why why i get it into protools theres feed back running it like a audio track?
4. Any suggestions on software I should invest in first?
5. Any tips tricks etc? and yes i do have the user manual
6. finally i do have a record player and for a short min i was recording stuff off it and youtube such as old songs to chop threw my record ins now its not leting me it ma be the cord but if you know of anything else that would stop this please let me know!!
