How to *permamently* change midi note assignments through midi/sync -> note screen? Whenever i reboot MPC it comes back to factory defaults...

you could try the following... turn your mpc on, adjust the settings you want to have, save entire memory... and then set that project to autoload...

^^^^ +1, or download blue box, create a midi program and check "make pads chromatic" and just load it whenever you going to use it as a midi controller
