Just looking for some clarification since I don't have an MPC yet. I'm deciding between the 1k and 2500. I'd prefer 1k with JJOS but the Direct Record feature that samples and allows a sequence to continue looping is really appealing to me so now I'm considering the 2500 without JJOS since Audio Tracks don't seem to function in the same way.

The other feature I NEED in an MPC (which I know is possible in JJOS) is to be able to change sequences with a footswitch so I can play guitar live. Is it correct to believe I can have a footswitch trigger the F6 button and have my MPC on a screen in song mode which will have F6 trigger the next sequence at the end of the current sequence? So I could, for example, have a sequence looping and when I'm ready to go to the next part have it change with the footswitch?
