iPad connection...

Hi there, just wondering if anyone has conneted their iPad to their MPC2500 yet? If so how did you do it? Can you just connect it with the usb that you get with it or would something like this be more fitting: http://www.akaipro.com/synthstation49

Would just be interesting to find out as I would like to get more use out of my iPad...

The usb on the mpc isn't for controlling. It's only for use as a storage device. If you want to control the mpc you need to use the midi ports. From what I've seen, the Synthstation 49 only has USB midi -.- I don't know how good the USB->DIN midi cables are that you can buy. Check em out.

if you don´t need a keyboard this looks very promising if you already own an ipad.
