My MPC 2500 just wont turn on, I never did any pad upgrades or anything like that. I called the store where I bought It, they want about 400$ ( 2000 Danish Kroner ) To fix it.

Anyone know's how I can try to fix It myself?

First thing I would do is pop the hood and see if the power supply is connected to the CPU assembly properly, then check to see if there are any other loose cables.

If not...I would send it to Forat. Www.for at.com. He'll charge you a decent rate..and you'll have the machine back within 7 calendar days...depending on what you're willing to pay for shipping.

I wouldn't bother with forat. Forat is great for MPCs that are old and don't have an abundance of parts available out there in the wild. I agree on popping the top and making sure everything is connected, as well as trying different power cables, outlets etc. But unless you're either handy with a digital multimeter, or willing to experiment with swapping boards in and out of the machine, that $400 repair is probably your cheapest option.

Yeah I didn't realize he was in Denmark...but it might be something as simple as replacing the switch power assembly. Which is about 90 dollars. 400 dollars seems too much for repair on an MPC.
