Programs not working. . . "Wrong File"

I have installed an internal hard drive to my mpc. Randomly the mpc is unable to load my programs. It will give the "Wrong File" error message. After saving a program I can turn off the MPC, power it back on and it will load correctly. Every once in a while I will get this error and need to remake the program. Why does this keep happening. I've read that using the save everything command will help eliminate this issue. Is there something wrong with my internal HD or saving protocol? Last night I encountered this problem while soundchecking for a gig. Luckily I've encountered this problem before and have learned to remake the program relatively quickly. It wasnt perfect but the show was able to go on. Any ideas? This problem SSUUCCKKSS. I love the MPC but if this continues, I may have to move to the 404

do you know which os you are running? akai had some trouble with the filesystem and this lead to the wrong file message a lot in the early os versions. this should be fixed in the last two official os versions 1.23 and 1.24. some people prefer 1.23 because the chopshop is much faster than in the last release, but the latest release can chop in stereo!
did you format the harddisk after installing? and if so how did you do it? akai recommends to format the internal harddisk only from within the mpc and not format it from the computer. also they recommend to format the harddrive after every os upgrade to get rid of old errors.
in general it is good to avoid long filenames, not to overwrite existing projects or folders and the best bet is to create a new folder everytime you want to save and then always save the entire memory. this way i had no file error in the past five years and i can recall every session i made with loading the project file. harddisk space should not be a problem and if it is you can erase folders anytime.
don´t let you dissapoint by the small flaws of the machine, learn your steps around the pitfalls and use the potential of your mpc to create some cool music. and always have fun...

Did anyone figure this out? I have JJOS version 3.1 on my 2500, it has been humming along greatly for so long, all of a sudden, loading and saving programs, and samples are compromised.. Loading programs I get the WRONG FILE advisory.. what gives
