PLEASE HELP ME MPC 2500 LCDSCREEN TO LIGHT

Hi everyone,

Im a really noob on the mpc..(i feel so sorry for that) i bought it yesterday.. & when i put it on, the lcd screen is to light.. can hold it only on one position or I dont see anything..
then next.. if i hit the pads... no response
if i try to load/save or go to the mixer
first : Mode - load or anything els
the pads won't response

Please help me

Did you buy it used?

If so, hold down the "Erase" button before pressing the main power switch then release it after the MPC powers up.
This will restore it back to factory settings and it should auto-load some demo programs and sequences you can play around with.
(p115 of the manual - Chapter 18: Other Settings)

To adjust the contrast of the display you hold down "Shift" and turn the Data Wheel (p114).

I feel so hopeloss.. brought it back to the store.. ask him nice to fixx it for me
but it looks ''new'' for me? the plastic was on the screen front and back
what should i do when i receive it back??
