Case won't fit

ordered a new jogwheel encoder cause mine sh!t the bed over a year ago. anyways after removing the case, removing the board, removing the old jog wheel encoder and soldering the new encoder to the board my case doesn't fit properly. the wheel is now real tight to the case. so tight that it's rubbing against the inside of the case and when i secure the case down with all the screws i can't move the wheel at all cause the fu<k!ng b!tch is too tight. i removed the case and took a look at the board thinking maybe the encoder was sitting too high and i need to resolder but that's not the case. the encoder is sitting right snug on the board. it also seems like all the buttons aren't quite sitting correctly in the case.

any ideas what the solution might be?

You need to align the wheel when connecting it,don't apply force when when fitting the case back or you'll end up breaking the pcb board.R

PS.Do a search on replacing the jog wheel...try both the 1000 and 2500 forums.
