output 1 not giving sound

I have a problem. Output 1 on the 8 outs is no longer giving sound. Im running JJ 3.10(the free one), 128 meg, 80 gig hd, DVD drive.
It just happened outta nowhere, there's no sound registering from the MPC. I have checked my cabling and the input on the mixer. I have re-secured the contacts, cleaned out the port, and still nothing. So, my question is : is this somehing as simple as replacing the port, how hard would it be to replace the converter(which to my understanding is one chip), would a bad converter even do this? And why are my other outputs workin just fine? Or am I being a bobo and its somethin related to the software? Any help would be appreciated
Edit: All other outputs work, including spdif and the main outs and headphone, it is JUST output 1 on the 8 outs.

I somehow end up with blown stereo outputs on my store bought 2500. Had forat fix it cant remember exactly but I think it ran me close to 3 bills including shipping back and insurance...but it wasnt the actual outputs but some capacitors he had to replace...dude busted out with fluke meter like I knew what the hell the digits mean

no problem...if you know electronics good I would start with a fluke meter like he did and start taking measurements...once you narrow down what it is shouldnt be too hard to replace

do us a favor, post up pics and show us what parts have gone bad
hopefully it's the caps and they are visibly dried up

Just tested every part, not a single one bad.....fuuuuck my life. I really don't want a IC chip to have gone bad. That means I need a new board. Will keep you updated
