Can you bounce on the MPC 2500?

hi guys. i've been an mpc 4000 user for a few years. i've since sold it and i am now thinking of getting an mpc 2500. however, i need to know if you can internally bounce your patterns / sequencers / song as a 16 bit / 24 bit stereo or mono wav. you could do this on the mpc 4000 and is an essential feature for me to have.

can anyone let me know

you can resample within the machine rendering it to 16bit 44.1khz wave

Absolutely not, the 4000 is the only 24 bit capable MPC.

yeah you can bounce on it, but it´ll break

Why did you sell the 4000 which did exactly what you wanted to look at the 2500 (no offense to the 2500 I love it)

or also rendering audio tracks to a single stereo file within a DAW...

Bouncing by definition is the process of merging separate tracks into one track. It even talked about it in the manual for the first 4-track tape unit i owned back in 1996. You could get more than 4 tracks by bouncing 3 tracks into one track when you were running outta space. Pretty noisy on the tape after a bit though Tascam Portastudio07, those were the days...
