Can anyone recommend a PA system that fits the MPC 2500 best

My band depends on the Mpc-2500 for it's percussion, bass and synth. Is there a specific type or variety of PA system (ex. powered vs. not powered subs/speakers) that brings out the MPC best?

It'd really come down to the rest of the pieces in the band...can't really recommend a system for just one piece without knowing the others ya know?

It's a sampler, you get out what you put in. Don't rely on a PA to make bad samples sound better. Afterall you can't polish a turd.

If the band sounds bad through a PA, your MPC will sound just as bad through it. You just a need a decent sounding PA system period..

but for the powered vs non powered question... powered is more portable but non powered is generally better sounding.

also, PA gear choices depend a lot on what you will do with them.. what type of venue(s) etc.. size is an issue you must figure out first.

also a bass amp will work.

ive used nemesis amps before in bands onstage and they work really great. not the 'best' option (what is, really?), but works great to give you a 'spot' in the band.

if you make mono / live versions of yer beats, then it works out conveniently for almost any gig - you can either just crank the amp at a gig with no pa, or use one output to send to the amp as yer monitor and send the other channel to the sound guy to send to the house system.
