hello ,

I have a quick question ; i have just bought an MPC2500 with the original AKAI OS.

i also have read that you also can have the JJ OS.

My question now is : can you do with the standard Akai OS do the same as the JJ OS , or which one is the best to use ??? :?:

jjos has build upon the akai os.
So that makes jjos much better.
There is the free version wich is better.
But there are also paid versions where you get more extra's.

Check the comprasion chart on the jjos site.

you cant run both simutenously, you can switch back and forth between OSes by installing either...and JJOS is always better than wakai

I just bought a MPC2500 for $500 dollars today. Nothing wrong with it. But, since I am a JJ-OS virgin, do you load JJ the same way you'd load Akai updates? Thanks for your help in advance!!

I got my mpc2500 for $600 brand new off ebay a while back. Dude who owned it used it once and it was not for him. So there are those rare deals out there.

I bought my 2500 in Trenton. Took the trip from North Philly with no problem. I still would like to get a 4000 or a 5000 though.

Would it be better for me to buy that XL version of JJOS for all of the features? Is it still bit buggy? Thanks.
