Effects, Trim Mode Settings

Is there a way to apply built-in effects to sounds and have them going out of the individual audio 8-outs? So far I've only been able to apply effects and hear them through the basic stereo-out.

Also, can you switch how you hear the sound in trim mode to "one shot", ala the 2000XL? In trim mode on my 2500, right now I have to hold the pad down for the duration of the sound to hear the whole thing. Seems like you should be able to choose how you want it but I can't figure it out.

no, effects run through the stereo outs only!
*although you can run designated channels into an interface/mixer and do assign effects inside your daw, i do it alot.

not sure about your other question, that would be handy yeh. i get pain in my left hand from constantly tap/holding the chops in trim, but thats just how i chop..

something like a toggle button for that function would be a decent idea i guess, but your the first person i've seen post it as a problem. it's really just a get used to it kind of thing..
