What would be the proper way to midi my Korg TR 61, MPC 2500 in to Pro Tools 8 for tracking? When I make my music I have the MPC 2500 set as the master to the Korg TR 61, but when I'm ready to Track out to Pro Tools, how should I midi all three for Tracking? Pro Tools is the Master to the MPC 2500 and the Korg TR 61 is the slave to the MPC 2500(Master and slave setting are setup properly within the MPC! can you have both enabled at the same time in the MPC Midi setup menu?), but when I want to track, all thee have different times when I press record/play. So every thing is off tempo when I start to track into pro tools. Also I know the MPC needs pre-roll (two blank bars at the beginning of a song to compensate for latency during tracking), and I do the same for the Korg TR by adding two blank bars, and I understand midi to a good degree! During tracking should I Midi the keyboard(slave) to Pro Tools(Master) and send the MPC to the MIDI thru of the Keyboard?(dose the MPC2500 have MIDI thru?) This would mean I would have to unhook the midi cables every time in between making music with the keyboard and MPC, and Tracking the two in to Pro Tools! Please Someone Help! Also I would like to Record the Midi Data of the keybard and the MPC into Pro Tool what would be a good way to do this?
