The other day I noticed my mpc-2500 started acting strange, when I hit a pad at different velocities it will trigger different pads/notes and play their respective sample. So I press a pad and different samples play, did I set some kind of velocity note sharing thing?

I loaded other projects and it does this on everything now, does this mean my pads are broken or is there a connector inside that could be loose?

If anyone could help I would really appreciate it as I can't make music right now and this is gonna ruin my holiday if I can't fix it :(

thanks

I had the same problem with my 2500, hitting one pad would be triggering other pads eventually pads just started completely not working and it got ridiculous, so i ordered new pad SENSORS from mpc-stuff, took some time, replaced them, and they work perfectly now

There were a couple hard parts when replacing the sensors that werent explained in mpc-stuffs videos (because they only had videos for other models not the 2500) but i worked around it and it wasnt bad

Based on what you described i assume thats the problem
