Recording into the MPC2500

I want to sample from my technics 1200 mk2, through my numark dxm06 2 channel mixer, and into the MPC2500. What cable do I need to connect the numark dxm06 to record into the MPC2500? 8)

you need an audiocable.connect the audio output of your mixer(master out or channel out )to the audio input of your mpc 2500.

You probably should take an actual physical look at your connections on your gear and figure that out. Learn some cable lingo and go from there.

Example.... the record inputs of the mpc are 1/4 mono. C mon dude. Give yourself some credit and handle it.

or you can do it over wifi and dont need to buy any cables, but the initial setup takes bit longer

I realize as it was asked it was a stupid question. I meant to specify that I was looking for advice on which brand, type, etc would give me the best quality. Thank you to those who gave considerate answers. And the rest :fku: .

Print this thread, find and then walk into an audio store somewhere and show the printout to them, wait for them to finish laughing, then they can get you the cables you need. They are not expensive at all.
