Changes

How do you create changes in your song if your only using an mpc 2500??? I want to make my track more interesting any suggestions???

No I don't mean like different change ups in the sequences I mean like changing up to a different key

okay lets say your playing an 8 bar track and you have the first 4 bars in one key and now you wanna play the second 4 bars in a key below the one you played the 4 bars before how did you do that

i think hes talking about going from a musical key to another, for instance going from d major to b minor.

the answer is, you have to have samples in those keys that you want to switch to, you can pitch up and down, but its very hard if not impossible to turn some notes into other ones.

you need to start with the samples.

copy your entire program [place the cursor over the program you want to copy and then press the WINDOW button to copy it]... then place that program you just copied onto it's own track and start editing it... it sounds like you just want to change the pitch of the program, so go into the program screen and pitch your samples accordingly until they sound right to you... use the first program for the first 4 bars and then play the 2nd one for the last 4 bars... at least i think that's what you're trying to do...

@Damien You are correct After posting this I figured the samples would be the best way as far as everyone else I know how to tune and pitch
