(please help) cant convert to wav on a mac n files will not

Hey whats going on. Im having a problem after i go into record mode, i save it to my flash card and in the menu screen it shows the song as a wav sample, but when i load it to my mac, it show it as a project file or a .ipt. i just want to extract the wav file so i can listen to it. Can someone help. Also after i create all my sequence, i save the entire memory, but when i shut down the mpc and reboot, i load up the project and none of the samples load up in the sequence. Am i doing something wrong. i already lost 2 projects like that after six hours of work. Please help

For some reason its not seeing it. The project and ipt files are just created when you save "entire memory". Are you sure you actually saved the wav to your card, and didnt just save it in RAM? Because after it is recorded, its now in RAM. YOu now have to go to save, save a sample, and select whatever you named it and save it to the root of the cf card. Now you should see it on your Mac,
