Hi guys I'm new here so go easy on me
I've been playing around with my new 2500 but have noticed when I purge a lot of samples it ends up taking around 20 mins or more.
My workflow right now is:
1: Loads up a few folders of one shot drums so I can preview them on the pads on the program screen. This could be 80mb or so.
2: Make my programs out of the hundreds of sounds loaded
3: Make beat
4: Purge everything I'm not using before I save
Right now the problem is the length of time it takes to purge all those one shots.
From what I've read there is no way to preview sounds within programs without loading them into ram first. It's nice to be able to scroll through sounds while a sequence is playing etc
I did a search but the most recent thing I found was from 2006.
I'm wondering what people are doing now?
Whats the best workflow?
Thanks
M
