Random muting and erasing while recording a loop mpc 2500

Hey so I figured out everything I need to figure out basically using the machine, so i decided to start loading more samples (trying different stuff only usedcomputer programs for 10 years :O) so i record a drum loop using the overdub recording option, i lay down a hi hat no problem a snare no problem, but when i record the kick it erases or mutes? the snare or whatever sound it may be, the last thing i did before this happened was turn off the auto load, but i dont know if that has anything to do with it?

I was able to record loops and such about an hour ago no problem, did i mess with a setting i shouldnt have?

Check to make sure that the program you are using is set to poly and not mono...
also, check to make sure that there are no mute groups or mute targets set-up...

if you ask me how to do those things, my answer will be "read the manual"...
