Having some issues with my 2500.

What's up, everyone? I'm new here to the forum and pretty new to the MPC. My brother purchased a MPC 2500 second hand and everything worked great until recentl. A couple of the pads have stopped working. I can get one or two of the pads to work if I hit it right, but it's a real pita. I've also noticed that the 16 levels button also has stopped working. I was thinking about purchasing some new pads sensors from mpc-stuff.com. I was thinking that would maybe fix my pad problem, but what about the 16 levels? Has anyone else had this problem or similar? Please help me get my MPC running again.

if the pads seem to have died and you havnt changed OS or any settings to your pad sensitivity settings then definitely sounds like your pad sensors are fukd.

first check they seem to be connected properly and then if not >

..try the fix as a last port of call before you get on ordering new pad sensors tho

the 16 levels could just be an independent issue, the tact switch being dead and needing to be replaced.

Thanks for the link, but looks like I'll going to have to purchase new pad sensors.

Also I've noticed when I have the "type" and "pgm" fields highlighted on the main screen, I cannot change them using the data wheel. I have to hit window and change the program that way. It works on all other fields except for thr type and pgm.

I should mention that I have jjos 3.10 installed, although, I've noticed this before installing the new os.

before you spend doe on new set of sensors try this...

it really works as long as you dont cut thru the little white circuit print line.

n if your mpc is using senstronics type, VST store on ebay got them $10 cheaper than mpcstuff

Jus wanna add thaty a new pad sheet fixed my 16 levels and tap tempo, do if two pads are out u know your issue...
