Stereo to Mono

I'm new to the 2500 but I worked on the 2000xl for years. I normally sample in stereo but if there is certain sounds I want to avoid I'll convert the sample to mono. I can't seem to find that option on the 2500. I read the manual and couldn't find it. If I have to sample in mono that's fine. I just wanted to find out, maybe I missed it. Thanks.

hmm seems like akai os doesn't have this. Suggest you take a look at the FREE JJOS:
