Problem with "mode" button

I seem to have a broken "mode" button. Sometimes I have to massage it back and forth in order to get it to work. The "undo" button sometimes has the same problem. 1)Am I doing long term damage to the machine by doing this? 2) Should I get it fixed or just deal with it? 3) Where can I get it fixed?

it´s a common problem. it´s because nukai decided to put the cheapest of components inside their 1000 $ mpc.

thankfully this is an easy fix.

first try deoxit d5. if this doesn´t help (unlikely to happen) you have to change the tact switches. don´t buy from mpcstuff.com. they are ripping you off. buy these: http://uk.farnell.com/alps/skhhaka010/s ... t=165-6423
