hi,

im trying to get my mpc2500 to sound through my djm 800 mixer. i have an RCA, digital, coaxial cable from the digital out of the mpc to the digital in of the djm800 (on channel 1) but no sound comes out!
i saw a post from 2006 that it didn't work because the mpc player nonlinear pcm (or something like that) and the djm 800 only worked with linear pcm..
what I can do is connect the digital OUT from the djm800 to the mpc's digital IN, and it does work.

i'm using JJOS free.

thanks!

so there's no way to make it work? i mean, can i change the sampling rate in the mpc? (some OS update..?) because i can't on the djm800, either 96 or 48.
weird thing is it does work when it goes into the mpc..

thanks for the reply

MPC 2500 is fixed at
Sampler Resolution: 16bit/44.1kHz

if you have a audio interface in your setup what you can do is run mpc 2500's digital out to your audio interfaces digital in, then change clock rate on your interfaces digital out to 48khz and route that to your DJM-800 digital input

because i can't on the djm800, either 96 or 48....

That tells me mpc accepts 48 spdif input.

MPC output maybe be 44 as konnc3pt said. If your djm800 cant accept 44 then follow konc3pts instructions.
