Can I sync two mpc2500's through midi?

Ok so I want to sync two mpc2500's via a midi cable.
I can do that easily I'm guessing with midi master>slave.

But will the tempo stay synced if I adjust the tempo on the master?
And is there a bidirectional connection so either mpc can be used to change the tempo?

You guessed correctly, it can be easly achieved via midi master/slave function.

With that in mind one always has to be the master while other slave, master dictates what slave needs to be doing.
