MPC 2500 VST

Hi MPC Neighbors,
I sometimes wish there was a VST for the 2500, e.g. Sound Tower for Dave Smith Instruments Mopho x4.
With the stability and efficiency of the MPC 2500, though I don't think I need another sampling drum computer anytime soon.
Currently using MPC 2500 with DAW is cool but I believe much benefits will be presented to users, especially in-studio like me,
Is this even possible?

Can something resembling Overbridge Technology over at Elektron be possible for MPC2500 integration with Mac/PC...

That would be really bad ass but I doubt it, I do not think the USB on the MPCs works quite the same. When my MPC is not in the studio I have it MIDI'd to my laptop which runs Logic 9. It's not QUITE the same but everything feels tight (I can scroll through bars on Logic and watch the bars change on my MPC, etc). Maybe it is worth a shot?

Something dedicated would be really cool. I'm really disappointed that I cannot run JJ's old sequencer program on either of my computers.

someone should hit up jj and see whats up with that, maybe mike at mpcstuff..
