Can someone help me and tell me where I need to spray the Deoxit onto my jogwheel? I couldnt find the contacts.

would really appreciate!

Your best way to check where to put the stuff, is to turn it with your fingers, and see where the piece your turning makes contact with the rest.

So right along the white ring, between there and the board. Your not only using Detoxit are you? You'll want to use a moving contact lube after you let that soak in, as the Detoxit or any type of radio tuner cleaner is going to strip any lubricant out of there.

thanks for your response.

So what you're saying is that i need to spray onto the silver plate, where the wheel is or inbetween? :hmmm:

im only using deoxit since the wheel works. but it doesnt react on the programm. well it does, but not good enough

Noperz, spray between the plastic wheel and metal plate I believe. There is that tiny circle around the too, where the plastic meets the metal. Detoxit alone tho could eventually make it worse though. Is why I mention the lubricant. Detoxit and TV Tuner Spray, all that stuff will strip out not only dirt but also the lubrication.

Deoxit is not your ordinary contact cleaner. In fact, every (especially Nukai) MPC user should own a can of this awesome shyt :smoker:

For faders and potis there“s FaderLube and FaderGrease. If you use these you should apply Deoxit D5 beforehand, since they are only lubricants without oxide releasing effect!

you dont need to settle for a new one, you can get it repaired if you cant do it yourself, and once you do that it will last you and even longer time, Im currently get my internals like the cpu and the wires checked out right now and then ill have it customized. its not a bad rout to take, if you can afford it.
