MPC 2500 USB Load Issues

Hey everyone using my MPC 2500 today trying to load some samples from my computer via USB. I've gotten some samples into the MPC this way and some work and some dont. All the files are .wav but for some reason most of the samples will not play although i can see the name of the sample in the MPC. just curious if this has happened to any of yall and if you know the solution. im thinking it could possibly be the way the files are named? any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks

Make sure the samples are 16 bit, 44.1 khz wav files. Otherwise the MPC won´t read them.

File names should be 12 characters max (excluding the file extension).

16Bit!!!! thank you! imported my samples into pro tools and converted them now they're working like a charm!

I just had the same problem. Now I can see that my wav samples were 24 bit. Thanks for solving that mystery for me!!
