I went yesterday and drove 4 hours round trip to buy a 2500. I got there and WOW. I was told it was mint and it clearly wasn't. It has issues.
The pads wasn't working and when I click the Mode button to go to Program, Grid Edit or any other function, nothing works. The 16 Level button does not work either. I couldn't load anything. I couldn't mount it to my computer. I tried powering the unit off and holding down erase while powering it back up and that didn't help. Here is the craziest part of it all... When pressing Note Repeat on bank A & C it would trigger a sound but not on B & D.
Has anyone seen or heard of this problem or problem's? I can't just drive back and get it without knowing how to fix it before hand. He was asking $550 but before I went I had him down to $475. Also it was running on the Akai OS.
