I am a new owner of my first MPC 2500, and the Q-Link sliders arrived pretty dirty and not very smooth at all. One of them barely worked (only registering a few values) until I sprayed it out with compressed air (which may have been a dumb idea, as it now registers all values but moves even less smoothly than before).
I've seen a lot of unverified mentions of Deoxit D5 but also some people saying not to use it on sliders, and also a couple mentions of Deoxit Fader Lube. However, most of these posts (here and on other sites) seem to be guesses rather than successful cleanings.
Any recommendations?
Thanks.
