Hey all,
Stoked to find this community. I practically live in front of my 2500, after years of living in front of my 1000 (rip), and I wanted to see if anyone had any experience of their MPs 'frying', 'burning out', or 'giving up the ghost'. My 1000 suffered a strange and mysterious death after being carried on a plane, and I'm trying to look out for my 2500, as it's the 'cow' to my 'farm', if you will.
BASICALLY: Has anyone here experienced MPC death from overuse? Has anyone here used a 2500 or 1000 for hours a day for years and had no problems? Have you left it on all night every night since you were 15, and it just keeps going?
I want to hear your stories. I know these machines are old and unique and finicky, but I want to take care of my 2500 while using it constantly, at least 6 or 7 hours a day.
