Mine does this too- I think it has to do with how the top plate of the MPC is screwed on- I think it puts more pressure on the top left corner of the pads. I think you could fix it by taking off the plate and carefully re-attaching it if It's a similar issue to mine. My #13 is so pressed down by the chassis that I have to pull on it if I'm about to use it because it usually won't register

Sometimes when my pads act up I remove the faceplate and clean the sensor sheet with a moisty cloth. This used to happen a lot more when I was still smoking (weed).

yeah, I wiped her down and gave her the old deoxit to the a$$ multiple times and it still wasn't working until one day it kind of just fixed itself? :?
