Mpc 2500 screen prob

Lights up no text will lcd replace this or is it an mother board prob cause the 3000 had same isssue was not the screen but an cap on board lmk

Check the contrastsettings. Either hold Stop or Tap button and use the scroll wheel to adjust the contrast.
