On what will I miss out when not going jjosxl?

I am making a big step to integrate mpc as heart of my studio, replacing my daw.
From next week on I will get my hands on my first mpc.
The purpose is to learn sequencing/sampling for Detroit Techno.
Are there any fans here who have knowledge to answer some questions?
First one, I read is quite a big deal on which software you are using, os or jjosxl.
To start with the right vision and to get the best approach on sequencing and not miss out on very important parameters (time-pitch stretch, chord modulation, filter, velocity, etc...).
What are the main differences here between os and jjosxl? For sequencing or maybe even general
My setup is simple prophet 6 to mpc 2500.

plus much has been covered in the various topics here. But ultimately you are free to download any version of JJOS and test it out to see which one works best for you (saving disabled in the trial). You can also switch between the the free JJOS and a paid JJOS at boot up. If in doubt, start with the free JJOS and see how you get on.
