Hi i wonder if its possible to transfer projects from mpc one to mpc 2500?
To a point. The MPC Software has an option to convert programs and sequences into MPC2500 format, so it will allow you to recreate the basics in the legacy MPC, but stuff like FX, filters, LFO, mixer settings etc will not transfer (or where they do, will need a lot of tweaking). Modern sequencing features will also be gimped or ignored.
Also be aware that the MPC2500 program conversion as a whole is very basic; it doesn't convert samples to 16 bit nor does it rename samples into the 16 character format preferred by the 2500, so be aware of this. Also remember the ram limitations.
Ultimately it's possible to go backwards, but it's a PITA.
