Do you reckon it's the most 'powerful and exciting' MPC yet? He was certainly impressed

As usual, Akai decide to sell their latest product in the UK for twice the US price. At £2000, that's over $4000. Way too expensive.

I can get a brand new MPC4000 for £1300. I really do not see where the 2500 fits in this as it has lower spec and as the guy in the video says, it's a 4000/1000 hybrid, so surely it's price should be between the two - i.e. around £1000?

I know that in around 2 months it's price will have dropped, but at £2000, that's just outrageous.

Not being negative, looks like a good machine, but the price needs more thought.
