From MPC3000 to MPC2500 Should I Do it ?

I love my MPC3000 believe me, The timing, the sound I get when sampling from records. The Huge library of sounds (I have all of the Bangin Beats Disks) BUT .The power supply gets hot as hell, The SCSI is sickening,have to press buttons extra hard

WHY Do I WANT the MPC2500?

The ease of use . Loading Sounds , chopping up loops, The LIVE feel, The machine has an energy to it. The expressiveness of the QLink (I fell in love RIGHT THERE)

Im not a Rich Dude, Not making money off music , Cant afford both.

SHOULD I Upgrade ? Just be happy I have MPC, Use Battery 2 for sounds

ps. Does anyone know FACTUALLY if the mpc2500 reads mpc3000 sounds & How?

• MPC1000 SEQ, WAV, PGM
• MPC2000/2000XL SEQ, WAV, SND, PGM (Most parameters of PGM file can be loaded.)
• MPC3000 SND (THRU Computer)
• Z4/Z8 WAV only
• S5000/6000 WAV only (THRU Computer)
• S1000/3000 No compatibility

these are the current spec on the 2500 as far as compatibility
