i´m just about to make mpc programms from my Battery2 sounds - now this is a lot of work.. is there a function that puts every sample in the memmery to one pad of a programm - or di i really have to select each sample and pad on its own - like i am doing it for the last hours... ?*gettingwristakes"

every sample to one pad. then which sample would trigger when you
hit the pad?

Use:

awave and mpc editor can create mpc 2k/2kxl programs.

mpc editor is easier though, create programs from 64 samples in the same folder at the touch of a button. from different folders though you'll have to drag and drop.

Co-sign on MPC Editor.

It would be great if the MPC 2500 can load samples and automatically assign them to a program.

I save all my Battery samples on the 2500s HD. Each kit has its own folder. The 2500 can load all samples within a folder with one-click..but you do have to assign each sample to its own pad, which only takes a minute or two per program...and names/save that program back to the folder that contains the samples. I am about to do this now.

yes i do this to - but it doesn´t select the NEXT sample for you, does it? like - if you want to assign the 100th sample in your list - you have to do quite a bit of turning hte weel to find that sample?
Is thi is the way it goes, fine - i just don´t want to do it more complicated than necessary..

Can these programs work on the 2500?
