In the MPC Comparison Chart (available at akaipro.com), I notice that the MPC 4000 is the only one with a sequencer resolution of 960 ticks per quarter note - all the others have 96 TPQ.
Moore's law and all, I find it surprising - and a bit disappointing - that an older piece of "computer" hardware has better specs that the newest one.
Do anybody else feel this way? Or am I just being overly concerned about something that have no practical consequence?
