2.5 or 3.5?

After searching through some threads about this, am I correct in understanding that only 2.5 inch laptop drives will fit into the 2500? I can't use 3.5's, right?

correct only 2.5 inch

go to www.akaipro.com click on the products then 2500 and scroll to the bottom and u'll see a list of compatible drives

I would also check the latest threads with people having problems with the 80gig drives.

I use the 40 gig Toshiba drive, which works as advertised.
