Anyone know the best way to shutdown your MPC with the hardrive installed?
I know with computers(or anything that uses built-in hardrives) you have to do a shutdown procedure to keep your hard drive healthy.
now with the 2500 i see no shutdown procedure, i just have to wait until i cant hear the harddrive working anymore then turn it off, but even then i notice some of my files saved to the harddrive dont work and i think its cause of not doing a proper shutdown....
anyone else having these problems??

not sure if its the proper way but, I just wait until nothing is playing and hit the power switch

I havent noticed any problems with my hard drive from my method

yeah, the proper way is to just push the power button on the back of the unit.

nah, for real, just make sure the drive isn't spinning first. there is no command to shut down.
