sampling off cds

I read that on the mpc 4000 you can sample off cds that you put in and play off of the internal hard drive, can you do this with the 2500? Thanks

P.s Im not talking about using a sample cd, just sampling a loop or whatever off a regular cd.

Yes. If you have the CDM25 drives installed in the 2500, you can samples from CDs as well as import .wav files. You also have the option of importing a complete audio track (from a commercial CD).
