Zones on the 2500

Was trying to find out if the maximum number of zones on the 2500 is still 16 like on the XL or will it do more than 16 zones?

Is that 64 zones when in EQUAL mode or just when in AUTO mode?

When I downloaded the manual it didn't go into the number of zones so that's why I'm asking.

64 is the max for both modes.
