USB Sample Import Pitchshift Error

When I loaded a bunch of samples from my computer through USB and played them back in my MPC they were speed up or pitchshifted. A sample that was 114bpm was playing back at like 175bpm. Not all the samples just some . Why?

happens on mine too, weird but I dont think it really changes the actual bpm for some reason though since they sound exactly the same on the record/computer played sample

The original samples on your computer....where they 16 bit/44.1khz wave files?

I've found that with some samples of an Akai CD, but only when they're previewed. Playing off the main screen from a pad they sound OK.

Yup J your right once agian. 16bit 11khz. I was thinking the same thing last night as I was falling asleep. goodlook thanks

hey i know this might be like a tottal newbie question, but how do you slow down the bpm on and indivdual sample? I actually loaded an entire key riff from my key board, and when i play is back, it plays back really fast and high pitched. got any tips?

This is one of those question where you will be told to do a search or read the manual. This is a real Novice issue that you should figure out yourself.
If you still cant find it PM me and I'll share the info. Again, no direspect intended Its good exercise to search, in most situations you'll find the answer a lot quicker by doing a search in the forums.
