I love the 2500, but this problem I'm having is a pain in the ass.

When syncing my MPC with my Triton Extreme or Fantom XR, the notes being played back won't release and will stay on hold.

Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?

I've been looking through all the midi settings on the 2500 and can't find anything.

PLEASE HELP! ONE LOVE

Its a bug with MIDI OUTS C and D. Depending on which synth you use, it will happen with A and B as well. Akai has known this for several months now and is suppose to be working on a fix.

I'm using a Fantom, Triton, and Virus. The Fantom is on A and the Triton is on C. This problem doesn't occur when I'm using the Virus.

I'm going to keep testing it out and see.

Hopefully Akai comes out with a fix soon. This really **** sucks.

How do you find out which BIOS is installed on the 2500? Maybe I can try installing the 1.00b BIOS if it's not already installed you think?

My original guess was for an OS release during Namm. But I think Akai have been waiting to release it during the Steelers Super Bowl Victory..which would be Sunday (Monday in Japan). So I am keeping my fingers crossed for late Sunday night or early Monday morning..USA time.

I am not one to whine and cry like members in the MPC 1000 forums (especially when they could have picked up the 2500 months ago with the coveted OS 2).....but, I do admit that I have been getting a little ticked....not because I want new features..but because I want the features that it has to work properly. Anything new would be gravy...

Honestly, I am quite upset but I am keeping most of my thoughts to myself because it will probably do no good. But, I don't expect everyone to have the same restraint. Look what happened to the MPC 1000 users and their precious OS 2.10. The previous OS was pretty much solid but this new major OS update has a few issues.

As of today, I will not even turn on my 2500 until I receive an OS update. I am tired of beta testing this OS. Give me OS 1.30 (or what ever they will call it) so I can beta test that
